The local embankment of the Southern Bug River and the unique fountain near the Roshen factory are the most famous among the townspeople, and throughout Ukraine and even the world. A few years ago, construction of a floating fountain began near the factory. Now it is one of the largest floating fountains in the world, the width of which is 140 meters in operation, and the height of the highest of the jets is more than 60 meters.
Every evening, a large number of people gather on the embankment to watch the bright fountain show accompanied by music and just relax. Undoubtedly, Vinnytsia fountains are the first location for anyone visiting Vinnytsia for the first time.
However, the fountain also has a certain working schedule. During the spring and summer period, the fountain simply works during the day, in the evening there are already synchronized shows involving different modes of the fountain, a projector that broadcasts cartoons with musical accompaniment. In autumn, the season closes around the middle of October. Of course, the best and brightest show is already in the evening, when it’s dark outside – then the bright light stands out so well against the dark background and a real fairy tale begins in the channel of the Southern Bug. That is why everyone who wants to sit down to watch the show is advised to come in advance. However, even in daylight, the fountain is especially beautiful, because there are so many modes of operation and they are all so different!
A feature of the fountain is also an interesting “winterization” technology, due to which the structure is simply submerged under water and thus it is preserved until the new season.
In terms of brightness, splendor and original shows, the fountain in Vinnytsia is not inferior even to well-known reservoirs. This is where everyone will be interested: children and adults can watch the water music and light extravaganza, lovers can spend time in a romantic atmosphere, or just relax while walking along the embankment.
